Used Huawei BBU/RRU Base-Station Gear: An ASEAN Sourcing Guide

Network upgrades and 2G/3G sunset at China's three carriers retire Huawei BBU3900/3910/5900, RRU3908/3936, AAU and more in volume. Tested and refurbished, they're a high-value source for smaller ASEAN carriers, ISPs, private-network expansion and spare replacement.

Spec on three axes: air interface (GSM/UMTS/LTE/NR multimode), band and channels (e.g. 4T4R), and transport interface (CPRI/eCPRI). ASEAN networks run largely on Huawei/ZTE, so compatibility is strong.

Price: carrier-pull refurbished cost can be 10–30% of new. RRU3908, for example, runs well below new; BBU chassis depends on baseband cards. We offer power-on testing and functional acceptance, volume negotiable, price on request.

Import note: functional 4G/5G gear is generally importable across ASEAN; anything with RF needs local type-approval (e.g. Thailand's NBTC). 2G/3G-only units and used batteries are more restricted — best avoided.
