Thailand's 10-Year Age Rule for Used Excavators, Explained

Thailand has no blanket age ban on used construction machinery. The '10-year line' comes from BOI Announcement 6/2558: under 5 years gets duty exemption and counts as investment; 5–10 years is usable but not counted; over 10 years is still importable, just without exemption and needing a performance certificate.

In practice we filter in two tiers: for BOI enterprises we push under-5-year units; for ordinary buyers the age window is far wider. Every listing shows its year.
